Costs and Enrollment
All courses are priced at $275 each, and, upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from UofSC Aiken for each course you have finished. Payments accepted are check, money order, and credit card.
Upon successfully completing any six courses, you will be granted a “Horse Smart” certificate from USC Aiken. Choose the areas of study you are most interested in and gain confidence around your horses, equine facilities, and anything equine. These courses will be the building blocks on which you can begin an equine career, they will give you a "leg-up" on the basic knowledge you will need when choosing a degree at a college or university specializing in equine disciplines or they will simply give you the satisfaction of pursuing personal enjoyment and enrichment.
After completing six courses and receiving your "Horse Smart" certificate, you will be entitled to take as many other courses as you like for a discounted price of $250.00 each.
All registrations must be completed online. During the registration process, students will enter their contact information and submit payment by credit card or E-check.
Once registration and payment are complete, a welcome email will be sent automatically with study tips and the first lesson.
Refund Policy
Students have 3 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. All refund requests must be submitted in writing (email accepted). Requests received after this 3-day period will not be eligible for a refund.
All approved refunds will be subject to a 10% deduction to cover credit card processing and administrative fees, in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Cooling-Off Rule.
